Dr. Schweitzer received his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1985 and a certificate in Prosthodontics from the same institution in 1990. 


He is currently Assistant Program Director in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Dental Department at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and maintains a private practice in midtown Manhattan, NY.  Dr. Schweitzer has lectured throughout the world on Implant Prosthodontics.

 

Dr. Schweitzer maintains active membership in several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, and The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.  He served as Secretary for the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics for 5 years until 2006 and served as President of the American College of Prosthodontics/New York State Section in 2004.
